The second phase of the Scottish Child Abuse Inquiry will continue
with its investigation into children’s homes run by the Catholic order
Daughters of Charity of St Vincent de Paul.
The Lady
Smith-led hearings are to reconvene on November 28 in Edinburgh to
examine historical allegations of the abuse of children in care. The
public inquiry, which began in May, has already heard a series of
religious organisations apologise for historical abuse in damning
testimonies.http://www.policeprofessional.com/news.aspx?id=30079
