The Catholic Church should focus on the victims; not the abusers: Readers sound off

It seems to me that over the years, it has been more important for the Catholic Church to cover up clergy abuse, when the focus should be on caring for the victims. Abuse damages people and adds complications to how a victim views spiritual guidance going forward. Suffering abuse by a member of the clergy can be devastating. No more cover-ups. Care about victims! Protect our vulnerable targets, not the abusers.
