Across the US, Catholics are searching for ways to respond to the constant sex-abuse scandals that have tarnished the institution in which they believe, with back-to-back scandals in the past two months. "Being a Catholic this week after hearing about the tragedies that occur inside the Catholic Church is unfortunate. But the devil exists everywhere and unfortunately he penetrates into the Catholic Church at times," said Steve Golla after leaving Sunday mass at St. Patrick's Cathedral in New York.
