Harris given month to find solution to controversy over ownership of maternity hospital. The Government may ask the Sisters
of Charity to gift their land to the State in a bid to defuse the row
over the location of the National Maternity Hospital.
Minister for Health Simon Harris
briefed the Cabinet on the issue and the controversy surrounding the
ownership of the hospital, which is to be built on the grounds of St
Vincent’s Hospital.
