Simon Coveney says he's concerned about extending the terms
of the current commission of inquiry into Mother and Baby homes because
it will delay the findings.
Coveney says that an extension could put off a lot of the work that's
already been done specifically in relation to the case in Tuam. Yesterday the Taoiseach said there needs to be a period of reflection
on what Ireland does as a nation in response to the scandal.
