Some nuns who abused victims couldn't remember the abuse

Professional Standards Committee leader Di-Anne Rowan says at the time some Sisters of Mercy nuns were named as alleged abuse perpetrators, they were asked to meet with their victims.
It was about 1997 when this occurred. Ms Rowan said one nun in particular, who was not believed to be working with children any longer, was anxious to meet one witness in the Royal Commission inquiry into child sex abuse at Neerkol Orphanage because she couldn't remember the abuse.
